May is the time when the landscape of Umbria is full with the scent of flowering wild roses. 
In a few weeks time we gather the wild petals by hand and distill them carefully in our copper still. The result is a Hydrosol that is fragrant of fresh rose and cucumber that has beautiful properties to rebalance, hydrate and refreshes all skin types. 
With a pH of 5.5 it can rebalance skin after cleaning and it is perfect to dampen the skin before using water-free products like our face oils or face balms.
 
We love this wild rose water because it is made from non cultivated roses that emerged by self-seeding  in a wild and unspoiled non-agricultural area of Umbria.
